I was introduced to it in a seminar that had everyone look at the different events/developments that shaped each generation. One of the things that struck me is that the GenXers were the latch-key kids. So, we grew up as incredibly independent people. Generations are often overlooked in diversity training and it needs to be addressed! I'm going to check out the book too... Generations in the workplace is one of favorite topics. He's been a part of my musical background for so long that whatever I might say would just be inadequate. I can remember standing at the school bus stop and everyone was singing the words to PYT (Pretty Young Thing) and that's pretty significant since I don't remember much else about waiting to catch the bus. I came to visit your site today looking for a YouTube tribute to Michael Jackson's music.
